KiwiCan Term 4 Week 2 Reflection

 21/10/20

I.A.L.T upload a post showing what we learnt in KiwiCan.

This morning we had our second Kiwi Can lesson. Our focus for this term is respect, and the catchphrase is 'we respect our school, we will do it because we're cool.' The games we played today are: Snap, Crackle, Pop and So Makalo. To play Snap, Crackle, Pop, we had to get into groups of three, get into a circle, and choose a game name each, Snap, Crackle, or Pop. Jodesy will call out a word, and whoever chose that word has to run around the circle and back. For example, if I was 'Snap' in the game, (which I was,) then if Jodesy calls out 'Snap!' I run around the outside of the circle and back to my groups spot, and while I'm running the other two have to hold up their legs for me to go under to run into the centre of the circle to grab the jandle that Jodesy put there.

Here is a picture of us playing So Makalo:

Today I enjoyed playing both the games because they were both fun.

I showed respect by not being a sore looser or calling anyone else rude names.

I think I could have improved by keeping my hands up longer when playing So Makalo.

Have you played So Makalo before?
