True and False Reading Task

I.A.L.T upload a task from this week and write about it.

This morning, our reading task was to write five true statements and five false statements based on the story our group is reading. After writing all ten, we were to swap our books with a buddy from the same reading group, and mark whether the statements are true or false. I gave my book to Xavier to mark, and I marked his.                              Below is my reading task:

1. Kane took the short way home. (False)

2. Kane picked flat stones for skimming. (True)

3. Kane wasn't worried for the swimmers. (False)

4. The people swimming had no idea they were at the sharks feeding spot. (True)

5. Kane didn't call out a warning. (False)

6. Kane flipped over a pretty beaten up dinghy. (True)

7. Kane didn't put on the life jacket before hopping into the boat. (False)

8. Kanes shouting and waving didn't get the family out of the water. (False)

9. When Kane got home, his father wasn't listening to his story about the sharks. (True)

10. Kanes father was disappointed in his son. (True)

During this task, I enjoyed writing the true and false statements because it was easy and I like choosing things to write down.

I think what I could have done better was write tidier and not scribble as much, because it was very messy.

One thing I think I did do good on was writing the statements down because I did not do it too slowly.

Have you read the school journal book 'Reckless' before?

Have you ever had to write down true or false statements before?
